Safety on the Waterway
Safety is our number one priority on the Milford Haven Waterway. Although commercial shipping levels within the Port continue to increase annually, we work closely with relevant Authorities to ensure that the recreational use of the Waterway can continue to grow and that a growing number of leisure users can safely coexist with industry.
The majority of the 23 miles for which Milford Haven Port Authority is responsible is entirely devoted to recreational use. For those areas that have multiple users, we have introduced specified usage and zoning areas and multiple guidance documents to assist you with your navigation.
We encourage you to respect this advice and encourage compliance at all times to any regulations laid down by Milford Haven Port Authority. We also wish you continued enjoyment as you explore our infamous secret Waterway.
